Not All Hope Is Lost

-I have to admit that sometimes I'm embarassed to go to school here for some specific reasons. I thought this year would be different than the last...apparently not. From what I've heard, USF has the highest amount of research funding out of all of the universities in the United States. It's a shame they choose time and time again to squander it on "studies" to see if there is a "...correlation between users of online social networks and suicide deaths", rather than something useful, like cancer research.

But not all hope is lost.

Victoria Bekiempis, another member of the USF Objectivist Club, and who I've had the pleasure of meeting, has begun submitting article(s) to the Oracle. I have posted my prejudices about submitting articles to the Oracle before; but hopefully we'll see some improvement to the actual content being published now because of Victoria. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has caught onto the Oracle's slow descension into something as shapeless as The New York Times.

Today, Five Years Later

-As you should know, today is the five year commemoration of when those dirt worshipping cowards from the Middle-East threw their "righteous" sucker punch. On September 11th, 2001 I was still in highschool. Needless to say, five years ago I did not understand the magnitude of what had happened. All is clear now. I know what needs to be done. Instead of memorials of sadness being built (or lack-there-of), we should rectify the two towers again to show those animals that we still stand taller and with more honor than ever before. Instead of bartering with the psychopaths that are so bent on destroying us, we should obliterate the threat of ever being attacked again. Instead of closing off the Monticello for Muhammad Khatami to visit, we should never allow people like him to step foot on the great soil of America. Cox and Forkum's cartoon states it the best in this cartoon: never again. The only correct way to honor the fallen is to erase the source of evil that caused it all: islam*.

-In case you're one of those liberal nut-cases that promotes tolerance of religion over the safety of America, I invite you to open your eyes and observe the insidious evil that is islam:

-Look at that woman's face and tell me that the islamic faith is "peaceful". Muslims only answer to their God; they do not value life, they only care about going to heaven to meet their invisible friend. Let's help America out and arrange this meeting as soon as possible.

*For this post and all future posts I will no longer capitalize the word(s) islam, islamic, mohammad, koran, or any other word that is derived out of that book of hate or "submission" because they do not deserve that kind of respect. The only way those words will ever be capitalized by me again is if they follow a period; and I'll still try my best to not see that happen.

Those Freakin' Danes And Their Cartoons...

-Those "God"-damn (get it?) Danes are up to no good again. I ran across these Danish parody cartoons* yesterday; I've posted my favorite ones here:

-Dilbert is my favorite cartoon-strip character anyways; but it also just happens to be my favorite of these parodies.

*I'm not too sure of the law, but if these cartoons are violating any copyright laws, I do not endorse or advocate any sort of intellectual property theft, just for the record.
